CVR TEST

PARK BRK must be on.

• LOUDSPEAKER volume knob - BOTH OFF
• ACP INT/RAD sw - BOTH in INT
• INTERPHONE RECEPTION KNOB - both RELEASE (minimum volume)
• CVR TEST pb - PRESS AND MANTAIN

The test is successful when an audio test signal is heard through the loudspeakers and the CVR TEST pb is pressed and mantained.

For CVR 30 minutes:

• A continuous tone; or
• A short tone

For CVR 120 minutes:

• A short tone; or
• A short tone and a beep every 4s; or
• Two short tones and a beep every 4s.

Setting the Clock during cockpit preparation:

1: If the date is INCORRECT, set the date manually then set and keep the clock mode to INT mode for the whole flight;

2: To comply with the time precision requirement (+/-1 sec UTC) for ATC datalink communication, the flight crew must either:
- Use the clock in GPS mode, or
- Use INT mode and synchronize the clock with GPS at least one time per day.
