what are thermoplastics?
A thermoplastic is a type of plastic polymer that becomes pliable or moldable at elevated temperatures and solidifies upon cooling, a process that is fully reversible.
What is extrusion?
A continuous process where molten polymer is pushed through a die to create long, consistent shapes like pipes, tubing, films, and sheets.
What is blow moulding??
A specialized process for making hollow objects (bottles, containers) by inflating a hot, extruded plastic parison inside a mould.
What’s Compression moulding?
Often used for thermosets, this method places pre-measured materials in a heated mould cavity and applies pressure until curing occurs.

what is a common manufactoring method of thermoplastics?
Injection moulding produces plastic parts by melting polymer granules and increasing pressure until the molten polymer is passed into the product die. once the plastic has cooled sufficiently the part can be ejected.
