A
- Muscle fibers that respond to stretch
- Motor and Sensory ending in skeletal mm
- form from anterior horn cells (grey matter in spinal cord)
- Provide feedback to the CNS: tested by DTR’s
- Activates without transmission to the cortex for interpretation. Spinal cord injury still have reflexes
