RESPONSE TO OUTSIDE CITY - LIFE-THREATENING SITUATIONS:

1. When a life-threatening situation is occurring in one of the jurisdictions bordering the city of Toledo, and a Toledo Police Department unit is the __ police assistance, they shall respond to render a__, s__ the situation, and/or hold the s__ q__ until police assistance from the jurisdiction involved arrives.
2. Dispatch of a Toledo Police unit shall only occur with the approval of the on-duty shift supervisor in ___. In other than life-threatening situations, no Toledo Police unit shall enter another jurisdiction without the prior approval of the ___ shift supervisor or an ___ command officer. Approval shall be based upon the information available at the __.
3. Whenever any officer of the department is dispatched or given approval to respond to an incident in another jurisdiction, a command officer shall also be dispatched to ___ Toledo officers and to complete an ___ ___ REPORT listing details of the incident and the department’s role. Communications shall also notify the affected on-duty __ commander about the incident.

In all situations where Toledo Police officers have been sent into another jurisdiction to render aid and the request for assistance did not originate with the a__ i__, the Communication shift supervisor shall ensure the jurisdiction involved is notified of the following:
