Q

Types of neurons

A
  1. Afferent (sensory) : sends senses to the brain + spinal cord (CNS)
  2. Interneurons: “in between” neurons in CNS - interaction between neurons (receive/process)
  3. Efferent (motor) : CNS to glands and muscles

Q

Steps that happen when you catch a ball….

A
  1. Detect with afferent vision neurons - the ball coming towards you
  2. Activation of interneurons in the CNS - processing, “the ball is coming towards me, I have to catch it”
  3. Activation of motor(efferent) neurons, communication to muscles, = catches the ball
