How do you make sure that you comply with the 10-min/occupant-above-FL250 rule for the O2?

Answer 2

Before each flight, you should use the perf graph, table, OAT and O2 pressure gauge to figure out how much O2 is available for each occupant and make sure that you are within requirements.

The graph will give you the percentage of O2 remaining in the tank.
The table will give you the max available O2 duration based of a FULL O2 tank based on the number of available O2 masks.

So to compute the actual amount of O2 / occupant you will need to multiply the percentage you found in the graph by the time found in the table (Ex: 50% x 44’ = 22’ per occupant)
