What are some causes of onycholysis?

A

Idiopathic
Trauma e.g. Excessive manicuring
Infection: especially fungal
Skin disease: psoriasis, dermatitis
Impaired peripheral circulation e.g. Raynaud’s
Systemic disease: hyper- and hypothyroidism
