MAJOR EXAM - 30%
is given to a student who may qualify for passing but has not taken any major exam or its equivalent. Such requirement/s must be satisfied within one (1) year; otherwise, the grade shall automatically be replaced by “5”.
Incomplete grade (INC)
is given if the student voluntarily withdraws in writing from a subject at any time or when a
faculty member drops the student from his/her roll for having exceeded the allowable number of absences (20% of the total
class hours for the semester » 4 meetings for an 18-week term)
or for not having attended the class since the start of the term.
Withdrawn Mark (W)
A student shall be considered absent from class if he/she is not
present after the first ??? of the scheduled class time.
