Mec aspiration
Hypoxemia & acidosis. Tachypnic, rtx, grunting . X-ray is patchy streaky. Dont sx unless real bad. Give surfactant.
Infant RDS
Also called hylen membrane disease. Usually premie <37 weeks. Onset 3-6 hrs post birth. Put on CPAP or hfnc give surfactant. X-ray has ground glass look
Diaphragmic hernia
Avoid PPV & BVM Immediate intubation. Og tube to decompress stomach.
Airleak syndrome
Usually a term infant Tension pnuemo
Pulm hemmorage
Tends to occur soon after birth if <37 week, & within 6 hours w term, within 48-72hrs for lbw. Frothy pink secretions.

Duodenum atresia. X-ray shows fluid filled stomach and lower, the proximal duodenum bubble , indicates blockage in the small intestine. Associated w downs syndrome and other anomolies
