Mec aspiration

A

Hypoxemia & acidosis. Tachypnic, rtx, grunting . X-ray is patchy streaky. Dont sx unless real bad. Give surfactant.

A

Also called hylen membrane disease. Usually premie <37 weeks. Onset 3-6 hrs post birth. Put on CPAP or hfnc give surfactant. X-ray has ground glass look

A

Duodenum atresia. X-ray shows fluid filled stomach and lower, the proximal duodenum bubble , indicates blockage in the small intestine. Associated w downs syndrome and other anomolies
