N – Nasty infections: Strep, TB, Brucellosis

O – Oral pills: COCP, Pregnancy

D – Drugs: Penicillins, Sulphonamides

O – Ongoing bowel disease: IBD

S – Sarcoidosis

U – Unusual syndromes: Behçet’s

keloid treatments

A

early keloids may be treated with intra-lesional steroids e.g. triamcinolone
excision is sometimes required but careful consideration needs to given to the potential to create further keloid scarring
