When building patient provider attribution rules, you can use the following properties:
MPM: Get Care Team Providers
MPM: Has Outpatient Encounters
MPM: Has Referral
MPM: Get Externally Attributed Providers
MPM: Get Authorizing Providers for Meds
The above five properties are the only ones validated for use in Patient Provider Attribution
rules. Using other available properties directly in your attribution rule will result in
potentially incorrect attribution
In the context of My Panel Metric Patient Attribution, sum of true lines will not sum the provider IDs and Department IDs returned by the true lines in the rule.

Updating and Summary Registries
Updating registries determine when the metric will be evaluated for a patient. When the summarization
process kicks off, if a patient is part of the listed updating registries in the metric ﴾IDN﴿, then that patient is
evaluated. Registry processing updates all of the registry metric values for the patient, compares that data
to the rule in the IDN record, and determines the measure outcome for the patient. The measure
outcomes are stored in the registry data instance ﴾RDI﴿ record.
Summary registries control which registries users can pick on their dashboards to further refine their view
of the dashboard.
