Q

Describe the EFATO procedure. (10-5)

A
  • Beta target (BLUE BRICK) 2s more in ground + SLOW ROTATION
    • Rudder trim 10-12s
    • AP…….ON
    • Pull HDG
    • Silent cockpit till 400ft RA
    • CONFIRM FAILURE (“ENG FAIL”, “ENG FIRE”…)
    • OEBs + “My radios my controls”
    • ECAM Actions
    • “Engine secure”
    • “STOP ECAM”

**NOW SECURE THE ACFT

- Push to lvl off
- “MAYDAY / PAN call climbing XXX heading XXX”
    - A A A (ATC, Attention CC at stations, Activate S-FPL)
- Clean the aircraft
- Green dot + PULL to climb whatever altitude you’ve set
    - OPEN CLB + THR MCT (like act.app.ph + speed manage)
- Continue ECAM

Q

What is the minimum and maximum (TREF) limit of the FLEX temperature for take off? (A319, A320 CEO-NEO, A321).

A

A319 ➡️ MIN = ISA+30° / MAX = ISA+60°

A320 CEO-NEO ➡️ MIN = ISA+29° / MAX = ISA+53° (CEO) ISA+55° (NEO)

A321 ➡️ MIN = ISA+15 / MAX = ISA+52°

ISA = 15°

Q

What is the lowest RVR for take-off with LVPs in force (when the AD has rwy edge and centre line lights, multiple RVR, high-intensity rwy centreline)

A

125m

(See table screenshot on EZY iPad)

17
Q

During the initial climb, below the one engine out acceleration altitude, you suffer an engine failure. Should you continue until being above MSA or should you join and follow the engine failure procedure immediately?

A

Join and follow the engine failure procedure.
