Marker use

A
  • A phys/PP marker was used
  • Superolateral to the anatomy and does not obscure it
  • ideally a phys marker would be used

Exposure

A

The exposure is ___. The image appears to be slightly
overexposed as there is some noise artefact and loss of sharp bony detail on the image.
The soft tissue skin border appears to be burnt out superior to the AC joint. However,
the outlines of the bone and bony trabecular pattern can still be visualised.
Approximate exposure: 70+-5kvp and 12.5-16mAs

Q

Anatomy positioning

A

Yes, I would confirm that the anatomy is positioned quite well. The ribs are not superimposing the anatomy. Good distance bw smth, indic of good tube angle.

Q

Is Image acceptable to send off to pacs?

A

Yes, based on the pathology, I would/not send off the image as it demonstrates the extent of the path and the required anatomy. To improve, I would increase/decrease exp, but I would not do a repeat of this xray as pt is in pain.
