Human Development Index - This is a composite measure that ranks countries according to three indicators including GDP PPP, Life expectancy, and Literacy rates

A

What is a trans boarder water conflict - Case study

A

A river running through China, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia and thailand. Since 1990 a number of dams have been built which have caused some controversy. A treaty known as the mekong agreemnt required governments of the involved to agree to propose new dams before they are built. The treaty was aimed to share the water better

In China and north korea also serves to limit citzens exposure to other cultures and global perspectives. By bloking foregin webistes, social media platforms and news sorucres. These governments restrict acess to diverse cultural content, ideas and values that may conflict state ideologies

What is limiting Migration
In the UK they have began limiting nigration by stopping people coming on boats and turning them away once they reach the country, the governemtn has also began sending migrants away to other countries

What is trade protectionism
Refers to economic policies and measures that governments implement to restrict or limit international trade, usually to protect domestic industries from foreign competition. Common methods are tariffs, import quotas, and subsidies for local businesses
