一いちだん verb recap:
-いちだん verbs are most verbs that end in the eru or iru category.
-Do note that although some verbs might look いちだん, they might be a ごだん verb or an irregular verb.
-a good way trick to identify an いちだん verb is if the writing is a kanji + e or I hiragana sound + ru. If that it is the case, then it is most likely an いちだん verb. Although this method only works with identifying いちだん words that have 3 or more syllables.
Ex: 食+ べ(e) +る(ru) = 食べる
起+ き(i) + る(ru) = 起きる 疲+ れ(e) + る(ru) =つかれる
