What is Oidium Tuckerii?

A

Powdery Mildew (Uncinula Necator), caused by dry, windy weather with diurnal variation. Leaves get white dust, spreads to grapes = turn dull, dusty grey. Leaves turn crisp, dry and fall off.
Chardonnay more prone than Pinot Noir.
