Used for analysis of monoethanolamine (MEA) and methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) in solutions used to remove acid gases, such as hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from hydrogen streams. This test is calculated and reported as wt% MDEA. Procedure assumes alkalinity of plant solution is due to presence of amine.
