German Vocabulary

According to Lingo Mastery, learning the top 2000 most frequently used words in a language will have you understanding 84% of words in non-fiction, 86.1% in fiction, and 92.7% in oral speech. This flashcard collection is designed for students to practice the 2000 most common words found in German media, as well as phrases and grammar. It is a great supplement for any student in A2/B1 level classes (pre-intermediate and intermediate). The words and phrases come directly from the audiobook "2000 Common German Words in Context" from Lingo Mastery. My personal approach to language immersion and learning involves multi-modal learning. I have found it easy to retain vocabulary when I *read it*, *hear it*, and *speak* it in rotation and repetition. For the best results with these flashcards, use them in tandem with the book. Here is my methodology, if you're interested: - Listen to the phrases as they're spoken and write what you think is being said. - Check your answers against the phrases in the accompanying PDF booklet (included with the audiobook purchase) - Use the flashcards to practice the phrases you've learned.
