وَإِذْ

لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ

to the angels

إِنِّى

Indeed, I (am)

جَاعِلٌۭ

Answer 6

going to place

Question 7

فِى

Answer 7

in

Question 8

ٱلْأَرْضِ

Answer 8

the earth

Question 9

خَلِيفَةًۭ ۖ

Answer 9

a vicegerent

Question 10

قَالُوٓا۟

Answer 10

they said

Question 11

أَتَجْعَلُ

Answer 11

Will You place

Question 12

فِيهَا

Answer 12

in it

Question 13

مَن

Answer 13

(one) who

Question 14

يُفْسِدُ

Answer 14

will spread corruption

Question 15

فِيهَا

Answer 15

in it

Question 16

وَيَسْفِكُ

Answer 16

and will shed

Question 17

ٱلدِّمَآءَ

Answer 17

[the] blood[s]

Question 18

وَنَحْنُ

Answer 18

while we

Question 19

نُسَبِّحُ

Answer 19

[we] glorify (You)

Question 20

بِحَمْدِكَ

Answer 20

with Your praises

Question 21

وَنُقَدِّسُ

Answer 21

and we sanctify

Question 22

لَكَ ۖ

Answer 22

[to] You

Question 23

قَالَ

He said

إِنِّىٓ

Answer 24

Indeed, I

Question 25

أَعْلَمُ

Answer 25

[I] know

Question 26

مَا

Answer 26

what

لَا

تَعْلَمُونَ

Answer 28

تَعْلَمُونَ

Question 29

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى جَاعِلٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

Answer 29

˹Remember˺ when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to place a successive ˹human˺ authority on earth.” They asked ˹Allah˺, “Will You place in it someone who will spread corruption there and shed blood while we glorify Your praises and proclaim Your holiness?” Allah responded, “I know what you do not know.”
