- Contractor submits Applications for Payment to the Architect based on Schedule of Values

The contractor shall prepare it and it allocates the entire contract sum among the various portions of the work. Unless objected to by the Architect, the schedule of values shall be used as a basis for reviewing the Contractor’s Application for Payment.
When should payment for materials and equipment be submitted? A101
Except with the Owner’s prior Approval, the Contractor shall not make advance payments to suppliers for materials or equipment which have not been delivered and stored on site.
Final payment by Owner shall be made to the Contractor when: A101
- The Contractor has fully performed the Contract Except for the Contractor’s responsibility to correct Work as provided in A201, and to satisfy other requirements, if any which extend beyond final payment
- A final Certificate of Payment has been issued by the Architect
When shall the Owner’s final payment to the contractor be made? A101
No later than 30 days after the issuance of the Architect’s final Certificate for payments unless stated otherwise
