Drills - Cabin Door Opening Normal Operation
*Place safety strap🚧 across door if no stairs/bridge are in place and Passengers are on board.
🗣️Remain within arm’s reach of the open door & make the mandatory announcement
Drills - Cabin Door Closing Normal Operation
🗣️ 1: Ensure door and door sill are clear of all items
2. Grasp interior hand grip with one hand while pulling on the gust lock to release the door from the locked position against the fuselage
3. Continue pulling on the gust lock and move door fully inward
4. Rotate the door handle to fully closed.
5. Ensure door is completely closed and door lock indicator is GREEN
Flight Deck Exits
Flight deck emergency escape hatch is located in the ceiling of the flight deck.
It is an inward opening plug type hatch and can be opened from both inside and outside the aircraft using a single handle.
