Adenosine Class
Antidysrhythmic
Adenosine MOA
Activates potassium channels, driving potassium outside of cells (causing hyperpolarization of the resting membrane), and inhibits calcium influx (causing suppression of calcium-dependent action potentials), which slows conduction times.
Can interrupt reentry pathways in the AV node.
