ASAP participation is mandatory for all Soldiers who are command referred. Failure to attend a mandatory counseling
session may constitute a violation of Article 86 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

Allows soldiers, family members, retirees and civilians to submit issues and recommendations to improve army quality of life.

The Army Red Cross
Provides emergency communications between soldiers and their families, supports financial assistance with AER, and assists during disasters of family emergencies.
How is AER funded?
Through Voluntary Contributions from Soldiers (tax free), through unsolicited contributions, repayments of loans, and
income from investments.

readiness of soldiers, civilian employees and their families.
