(2) Caer el veinte - to hit, to have a sudden realization

(3) Caer mal/gordo - to dislike /// Caer de la chingada - to hate

(4) Caer mal/bien (food) - to not agree with, to hit the spot

(5) Caer - to drop by (informal)

(6) Caerse con - to give something (unwillingly)

(7) Caer - to receive, to get

(8) Caerse - to drop something

(9) Caer en (la) depre/depresión - to get depressed/fall into depression.

  • depre is not so serious, depresión is serious

(10) Caer en algo - to fall for something

  • in similar contexts, SD and GT use “ha sido” (e.g. this year has been difficult = este año ha sido difícil)
