A

A

Treat citizens with dignity and respect, provide access to legal support, inform them of their rights, accountability of actions.

What separates Special Constables from regular police officers?

A

They are volunteers who support the police force for a minimum of 4 hours a week, and usually have a paid job outside their volunteering work. Once trained, they have the same powers as regular officers.

A

Theft, Burglary and Drug offenses will be dealt with in Youth courts but murder and rape will be trialled in a crown court.

How to record a faulty goods claim?

A
  1. E-mail or letter the business and clearly state your problem with the product and descrobe what you feel is the best solution to the problem
  2. If you are unable to settle with the business then you are able to use an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme
  3. The scheme will use a mediator or ombudsmen to try and reach a conclusion between you and the business
  4. A fee maybe charged if using the scheme, but this is refunded if you are successful in an agreement
