What are the arguments against ethical egoism?

A
  • that is inconsistent with considered moral judgments such as laws, rules of convential morality
    -also inconsistent with our moral experiences - racisism - the ethical egoist artitrarily treats the interests of some people (oneself) as more important that the interest of all others(rest of world) even though there is no morally relavant different between them
