What does a content analysis involve?

A

Studying human behaviour indierctly by studying things we produce. E.g. TV adverts, Newspaper.

How do you conduct a content analysis?

A

1.Identify hypothesis that you will investigate.
2.Create a coding system depending on what you are investigating.
3.Conduct content analysis and record data in table
4.Analyse data which is descriptive and qualitative.

Ppt must be told the purpose of the investigation. This allows them to make an informed decision on whether they want to participate in the research.

A

Deliberately misleading or withholding information from ppts.
