Think of swedish girl Malin from college celebrating her 19th birthday (keratins 1 +9)

• shortly after birth she developed diffuse, bilateral, symmetric hyperkeratosis of palms and soles with white-yellow hue , and she would have an abnormal gait secondary to painful PPK
• She is very sweaty (hyperhidrosis) and smelly (bromhidrosis)
• in the Unna-Thost variant, PPK can have Transgrediens (PPK goes onto dorsum of hands and feet) whereas Vorner variant does not
• she has the retinoid razor because retinoids, topical emollients, keratolytics are very helpful
