Think about a stinky italian soup (to remind you of the island Meleda where this occurs in italy) and the SLURP-1 gene mutation and malodor.

• this is autosomal recessive since nobody wants to eat the soup
• The person trying to eat the soup is itching himself (atopic dermatitis), and is having trouble grasping the spoon because of his transgradiens PPK.
• in addition, his hands are sweating a lot so the spoon keeps slipping (hyperhidrosis)
• the stinkiness of the soup is penetrating into his fingernails causing dystrophic nails
