What would you do if electrical power supply is interrupted during the engine start process (indicated by loss of DU’s)?

Answer 1

In case the electrical power supply is interrupted during the start sequence (indicated by the loss of ECAM DUs) abort the start by switching OFF the MASTER switch. Then perform a 30 second dry crank.

When should you select IGN on?

Answer 2

Select IGN, if:
T/O:
The runway has standing water.
Heavy rain is falling.
Heavy rain or severe turbulence is expected after take-off.
In flight:
When heavy rain or severe turbulence encountered.

Will the ignition come on automatically when engine anti ice is selected on?

Answer 3

No (I don’t think so from the manuals)
