Hot Bearing GTG If below 250* in bearing. 1. Start Standby GTG. 2. Parallel to the bus. 3. Open affected breaker and cross tie breakers. 4. Verify GTG cooling alignment, flow in sight flow indicators, and L/O sampled. If OVER 250* 1. Trip breaker. 2. Stop affected GTG. 3. Start standby GTG. 4. Place affected GTG LOCOP in local.
MLUSU
Stop, Locking/Unlocking Main Shaft 1. Establish comms at turning gear. 2. Secure masker air below 5 knots. 3. Transfer thrust control to CCS. 4. As RPM approaches zero place both shafts at "STOP" and maintain zero. 5. Order Lock Shaft. 6. Engage Shaft Lock Handle. 7. Remove locking device. Unlocking 1. Establish commas at turning gear. 2. Transfer thrust control to CCS. 3. As RPM approaches zero place both shafts at "STOP" and maintain zero thrust. 4. Disengage shaft lock handle. 5. Re-install engaging lever locking device.
MSEAH
Setting/Removing Emergency Ahead Pitch 1. Lock shaft. 2. Stop affected CRP pump. 3. Connect 3 hoses to OD box, set to emergency ahead position. 4. Pump hand lever until 3,000 PSI and valve rod assembly is aligned with emergency ahead. 5. Snap on emergency lock plates. 6. Slowly relieve pump pressure. 7. Stow and reset gear. 8. Report to OOD. Removing 1. Lock Shaft. 2. Stop affected CRP pump. 3. Connect 3 hoses to OD box, set to emergency ahead position. 4. Pump hand lever until 3,000 PSI. 5. Remove lock plates. 6. Relieve pressure slowly. 7. Position 4-way valve to MID. 8. Stow and reset gear. 9. Unlock shaft. 10. Align CRP system. 11. Move manual control valve to "0" and verify locally. 12. Set to 100%, verify locally. 13. Set to -45%, verify locally. 14. Set to 0%, verify locally. 15. Shift from manual to Auto.
