Deviance is seriously retaking the rules and norms. Deviance in sport is widely considered to be unethical and unacceptable in sport .

A

Result of a drive to win- at ALL costs. Can be through violence by both competitors and spectators

A

Increased chance of winning- win at all costs mentality

Want fame and fortune

Pressure- from coaches, or press

Because everyone does it - need to level the playing feild

Continued funding into scientific research to try keep drug testing ahead of drug taking

Education- of performers and coaches into the dangers and responsibilities
