The agent asked me if I was able to reduce the RV further. I explained that I am unable to do so without supporting evidence.

This was in accordance with Rule 5 of the RICS Rules of Conduct.

I was asked to inspect a property as part of the revaluation 2023 however, i was aware of the owners.

As per the Civil Service Code I relayed this back to my manager stating it would be a conflict of interest.

I proposed it should be inspected by someone else and it was subsequently re-allocated.

AQA - How did rule 5 apply to this situation?

I took responsibility for my action as I did not reduce the RV without the necessary evidence which maintained a fair and accurate entry was held. This also showed me acting in a way that would prevent harm to the profession as I did not reduce the RV.
