• Chemical carcinogens ( cigarette smoking, industrial workers exposed to tar)
• HPV

What are the Clinical Features of Keratoacanthoma?

Answer 3

• A solitary, rapidly growing nodule
• Sun-exposed skin
• Sharply demarcated, firm, erythematous or skin-coloured
• A classic central hyperkeratotic plug
• Removal of the keratotic core will leave a crater like appearance to the lesion
