  1. Allowed citizens of another state to sue a state in federal court
    -changes lawsuit if state in federal court; can’t be sued in state from out of state people
  2. Corrects problems with the electoral process with the presidency
    -separate ballots for president and vice president to prevent electoral deadlocks and clarify the roles of the two offices
