Handle them gently, never applying pressure directly onto the joints. Do not manipulate the joints during a massage & gently smooth on lotion onto the client's skin

Always make room for the caregiver & accept any assistance that they offer to provide

As long as you follow strict infection control practices, a client with lowered immunity should be safe in your salon
