Q

explain the nf loop of glucagon secretion

A

glucagon is secreted in response to hypoglycaemia, it moves hepatic glucose stores through glycogenolysis and stimulates gluconeogenesis.
glucagon stimulates somatostatin release from pancreatic delta cells to inhibit further glucagon release to prevent hyperglycaemia
