Obtain IV Access & Administer either:

Morphine 0.1 mg/kg slow IV/IM/IO (max single dose
10 mg)
*May repeat initial dose x 1 after 10 min
(max total dose 20 mg)
Hold for hypotension
*If Hypotension occurs proceed to Step 4

OR

Ketamine 0.2 mg/kg SIVP (20mg MAX single dose)
*May repeat 1x
*If Emergence Reaction occur proceed to Step 4

Reassess pain and repeat VS q 5 minutes

Hypotension:
- NS/LR 20 mL/kg bolus; May repeat as needed for continued hypotension

Emergence Reaction:
- Administer Midazolam 0.1 mg/kg
(5 mg MAX) SIVP as BP allows

Reassess pain and repeat VS q 5 minutes
