Session plan
Context- environment and participants, size and space available, apparatus, other activities going on, other groups training, time allocated to session, details of participants, other coaches working with
Content- specific areas plan of coaching, actual skills/activities , relevant warm up and cool down, use of additional resources
Considerations- reflective, following delivery of session for evaluation, what did gymnastics think, I think, how well was it recieved, did it achieve what I wanted to achieve, goals, how can I improve?
Why is cool down important
To return to normal and physical rested state, gradually reduce muscles, reduce amount of lactic acid in muscles, return heart rate to normal
—slow, low impact excercises to loosen out worked muscles, stretch major muscle groups, talk and feedback to class, games
