A
  • they should remain contactable with the pharmacy staff and be able to return with reasonable promptness
  • if they cant be contacted and return with promptness they must arrange for another pharmacist to be available to provide advice - this is a contactable pharmacist who can be for multiple pharmacy’s

they must record their absence in the pharmacy record for the business to remain operational while they’re absent. inc → date , time left and arrived
