Suitability screening process (Start to finish)

• member receives orders (begin 30 day clock)
• Transferring command schedules screening
• transferring command conducts a command review
• SSC completes preliminary screening (completes 1300/2)
• MTF staff conduct the screening
• SSC Forwards suitability inquiry to gaining MTF
• gaining MTF assesses local resources and replies within 7 days
• MTF provides recommendation to transferring command on NAVPERS 1300/16
• Transferring command makes determination on NAVPERS 1300/16 part 1 (30 day clock ends)
