When is the UCF not required to be used?

Construction, Architect and Engineering, Shipbuilding, Overhaul, and Repair, Letter requests for proposals IAW FAR 15.203(e), contracts that use the simplified format in FAR 14.201-9, contracts exempted by the Agency Head or Designee, or acquisitions for supplies or services that require special contract forms that are inconsistent with the UCF.
