During construction, renovation, modification, or alteration, the FM shall inspect the project to determine whether the plans and specifications are being followed and fire safety precautions are being observed.
Documents
- Fire Safety Inspection certificate (FSIC) is required for the issuance of the certificate of occupancy
- Fire Safety compliance and commissioning report (FSCCR) is required for the issuance of the FSIC
- Testing and commissioning of the fire protective and warning system must be witnessed by the Fire Safety Inspector or FSI
