WUI arrival report

A
  • Lookout
  • communication
  • Escape routes
  • safety zones

( As I arrive I am thinking LCES. On my way in I am evaluating the need for a lookout and where I can place them. I will communicate needs effectively, identify escape routes and point my rig away from the fire if possible, and be evaluating the need for a safety zone and where it will be located.)

  • position rig pointing away from fire

WUI en route considerations -

A

A/O - safe & efficient code 3

FF’s - egis for access/ measure driveway if needed

everyone - PPE and web gear, ops channel

me - I am considering weather/ time of day and how that would affect my crews ability to work. I will be mapping and monitoring my MDT for critical info such as predicted arrival order and alarm package. I will also be factoring the need for LCES.
* I recognize that we are responding in tandem as this is a brush fire
