A

Struggle time - thinking, processing, storing

  • Allow students as must ST as they need w/out interruption
  • normalise frustrated ST with affirmation (It’s a normal part of the learning process)
  • Normalising ST by avoiding hints, answers and taking over (cold reading - not even body language to suggest they’re on the right track

Fixed: qualities are fixed traits, cannot be developed or improved. Talent, not effort, leads to success.

Growth: Learning and intelligence can grow. Effort has an effect on success
