Lipids:
Triglycerides (simple lipids) – energy storage
Phospholipid (complex lipids) – major cell membrane component
Steroids/Membrane lipids – cell membrane component
Proteins: support, enzymes, transport, defense, movement
Nucleic Acid:
Dna - contains information that is essential for almost all cell activities, including cell division
Rna - stores and transfers information essential for the manufacturing of proteins
