Q

Roger Gracies closed gaurd

A
  1. take your time, you have the advantage.
  2. Your opponant need to put his hands on the middle of you chest to break your gaurd (if he is lower you can pull him in, if he is higher he opens himself to arm attacks) . Do have your hands on your chest, blocking him
  3. If he gets a grip, put your hand over his hand and grab his collar on the otehr side.
  4. You can then grab ,the hand that is gripping your collar, with your free hand
  5. The point to break his posture, is not when he puts his first leg up, but when he puts his second leg up, but before he establishes his base
  6. To attack, put the same leg as the hand the arm that is reaching for his collar, over his shoulder and clamp feet (eg right hand in his right collar, right leg over his left shoulder)
  7. When you are ready, throw you right leg over his head for an arm bar

  4. Opp still manages to stand, get a cross sleeve grip, underhook opps leg (same as the cuff youve grabbed), and sweep.
