Briefly describe feline herpesvirus

A

an alphaherpes virus that can be a primary or recurrent infection in stressed animals. Clinical signs of nasal discharge, conjunctival hyperemia, chemosis, seromucoid ocular discharge, etc. This should be treated with antivirals, topical antibiotics, and nutritional support.
