Descriptive Statistics

A
  • Descriptive statistics is a discipline of quantitatively describing the main features of a collection of data, or the quantitative description of itself.
  • It is used to summarise, organise and simplify data in a form that is more manageable.
  • Often the scores are organised in a table or a graph so that it is possible to see the entire set of scores.
