Q

Describe the method of collecting data to dtermine resistivity

A
  • Measure diameter, using a micrometer, at three different points in three different orientations and take a mean
  • Using crocodile clips and a ruler, connect a set length of wire toa circuit with ammeter in series and voltmeter in parallel
  • Record current and pd
  • Calculate resistance using: R = V/I
  • Repeat using a different length of connected wire
